Hello and welcome to Second Grade!
My name is Mrs. Maye Pedrosa and I am your 2nd-grade Instructional Assistant. This will be my second year at St Joseph. I am here to support Mrs. Leamy as well as you and your child. My number one priority is always the safety and well-being of my children. I believe in teaching the whole child in which we support and nurture all areas of your child's development, not only in the classroom but their social and emotional needs as well. I have been a part of the St. Joseph community volunteering both in and out of the classroom since 2005. My husband and I have 3 kids and one dog, 2 of whom graduated from St Joseph. (2 of the kids I mean, not my dog) =) I love our community as it has been a big part of my extended family. Choosing a Catholic school was a big commitment and sacrifice for us but I really believe it has not only prepared my children for High School but also helped develop them spiritually and morally. I am so excited to start this new year with you.
