In Kindergarten and First Grade your child will learn new songs with fun rhythms that we will sing and clap. I will also provide videos so your child can follow along with me. Your children will also learn many fun active and engaging songs!
Kindergarten and 1st-grade students do not need any supplies at this time.

In 2nd and 3rd grade the students will learn to play fun rhythms on a bucket with 2 spoons. Students will be required to practice the rhythms and post videos so that I may assess them. I will usually give an entire week to do a homework assignment so that your child has enough time to feel confident recording a video. Your children will also learn many active and engaging songs!
2nd and 3rd grade students need a small plastic bucket and 2 spoons for fun rhythm activities!

In 4th and 5th grade the students will be playing the recorder. Each week I will be assigning songs and tutorials for your child to practice. It is fine that students are at different levels because I will tailor the assignments to all different levels. Students will be required to practice their recorder most days and to post video assignments so that I may assess them. Your students will also learn many songs!
Please encourage your student to practice their recorder for 15-20 minutes 4-5 days a week or more! Many short practice sessions are way better than one long session!
4th and 5th-grade students will be continuing with Recorders.
