Liz Gray

Hello! I am Mrs. Gray. 

My passion is teaching! I have over 25 years of experience in the Oakland Diocese, most of those years teaching First Grade. I have a BA in Art (Studio) and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (CLAD). I have a Catholic background and education, attending Saint Joseph Elementary School and Presentation High School, both in Berkeley. I am the proud mother of four grown children who attended Catholic elementary and high schools. My newfound hobby is SCUBA diving and exploring the fantastic new world of God’s underwater creatures! 

Six and seven-year-old children fill my days with joy and laughter. They inspire me to keep learning and growing myself. I appreciate their unabashed enthusiasm, energy, and eagerness to try new things. I run a tight ship, but a fun-filled one. This year, we will strive to become independent, responsible, and respectful children of God. All students will be challenged to read, read, read! Our helpers, Mr. Wizard and Ms. Witch, will guide us and keep us excited about learning. We will explore a variety of topics with realia and hands-on activities. Let the fun begin!
