Maye Pedrosa

Hello and welcome to Second Grade!

My name is Mrs. Maye Pedrosa and I am your 2nd-grade Instructional Assistant. This will be my second year at St Joseph. I am here to support Mrs. Leamy as well as you and your child. My number one priority is always the safety and well-being of your children. I believe in teaching the whole-child in which we support and nurture all areas of your child's development, not only in the classroom but their social and emotional needs as well. I have been a part of the St. Joseph community volunteering both in and out of the classroom since 2005. My husband and I have 3 kids and one dog, 2 of whom graduated from St Joseph. (2 of the kids I mean, not my dog) =) I love our community as it has been a big part of my extended family. Choosing a Catholic school was a big commitment and sacrifice for us but I really believe it has not only prepared my children for High School but also helped develop them spiritually and morally. I am so excited to start this new year with you.
