Rebeka Lama-Chhetri

Welcome to the Kindergarten class page! My name is Rebeka Lama Chhetri and I am so excited to be part of St. Joseph Catholic school as a Kindergarten teacher. 

I have a BA in Psychology with Dual Degree in Teaching and a Master's degree in Teaching and Education through the University of San Francisco. I have my multiple subject credential with (ELAM). Before St. Joseph, I have taught at a few other Catholic school and SFUSD schools. I have worked with different groups of students and with different grade levels however, Kindergarten is my favorite age group. 

Teaching has been my passion for years. I knew at a young age, I wanted to be a teacher and give back the joy of learning that some of my wonderful teachers and mentors gave to me when I was young. I enjoy my time with little ones as they have a curiosity for the world around them, I love being able to laugh, learn and have fun with them. When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends, go on a hike, eat different kinds of food, and travel.
