- Play with different manipulatives.
- Converse with teacher and peer.
- Letter of the week, number (academic) practice (tracing, cutting, etc.)
- 8:45 – 9:00 am - carpet time / bathroom
- Review letter of week, review numbers, announce leader
- Bathroom, wash hands, get ready for snack time
- 9:05 – 9:30 am - snack time and transition to carpet
- 9:30 - 10:30 am - Free Play
- 10:30 – 11:00 am - Art; structured learning
- 11:00 – 11:55 am - Outside play / Recess
- 12:00 - 12:45 pm - lunchtime for full-time preschoolers
- 12:00 pm noon - End of the day & pick up for half-day preschoolers
- 12:45 - 1:00 pm - Bathroom, get ready for a nap
- 1:00 - 2:30 pm - nap time
- 2:30 - 2:45 pm - clean-up after nap time / potty
- 2:45 - 3:00 pm - read a book
- 3:00 – 3:15 pm - Afternoon snack
- 3:15 pm - Formal instruction for full-day preschoolers ends
- 3:15 to 6:00 pm - After school extended care with structured and unstructured activities
