Financial AssistanceTo be considered for financial assistance, families are required to submit an application accompanied by a copy of their most recent income tax return. All required financial assistance forms must be submitted to the school office when school registration forms are due.
Tuition Assistance Awards/Grants may be available and are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis to eligible students
- Applications open January 1 of the year
- Please read the respective information below to determine which financial aid program will meet your needs
- Be sure to follow the application process, completely
- Make sure to submit all supporting documentation by the deadlines
- Do not wait for current year taxes to begin the application process
- In addition, please submit copies of the following to the Bookkeeping Office
- Hardship Letter
- Tax Documents: Last TWO years (REQUIRED)
- Unemployment forms: If recent Lay-off
- If you require help, contact the Bookkeeping Office.
Note: If you receive Tuition Assistance from school, or parish you are required to contribute 10 additional General Parent Volunteer Hours (PVH). If this obligation is not fulfilled, future subsidies may not be granted.

Scholarships

BASIC Fund
The BASIC Fund provides scholarships on a first-come, first-served basis to families in financial need. The awards are based on household size and income and cover up to $2,500 of the tuition per child each school year.

F.A.C.E., Parish & School Awards
F.A.C.E. – Family Aid for Catholic Education provides financial need-based tuition grants to students who attend Catholic schools in the Oakland Diocese.
A limited amount of financial aid is available from the St. Joseph Parish & School Tuition Assistance Program. After you create a FACTS account for F.A.C.E., you can apply using FACTS login information.
In addition to a family’s financial resources, the administration will consider all other relevant circumstances in making tuition assistance decisions.
